European Sales Director

Position Summary:

SolarBridge Technologies, Inc. has developed an innovative microinverter that dramatically improves reliability, increases energy production, and reduces installation costs for solar systems. We are seeking a candidate for the position of European Sales Director. In this leadership position you will be responsible for expanding our relationships and growing our business across Europe. The primary metric for this position is revenue generation.

Responsibilities:

  • Build a world-class Sales team that will meet/exceed our revenue and growth objectives in Europe
  • Directly manage customer relationships and lead contract negotiations with major OEM accounts; work with PV system integrators and installers to build a funnel of company projects
  • Work collaboratively with the Sales Directors in other geographic regions to ensure seamless management/support of large multi-national customers
    • Develop and implement strategies for expanding the company’s customer base
    • Build awareness of our products, technology, and strategy among key influencers
    • Report intelligence from the field concerning industry, customer, and competitive developments
    • Help define new products for the European market
    • Lead our public relations and marketing communication efforts in Europe; provide input on corporate messaging, positioning and value propositions
    • Develop and manage a sales budget

A successful candidate will have an Engineering or Business degree and a minimum of 10 years of business development and sales experience. Essential to the position is a proven track record of managing large OEM accounts, exceeding sales goals, and leading a sales organization. Prior experience in photovoltaics is preferred. Approximately 50 percent travel is required.
