Product Manager
SolarBridge Technologies is looking for an experienced and entrepreneurial Product Manager to design, develop, and deliver market-leading solutions for the management system components of SolarBridge’s AC Module System. The successful candidate will necessarily be versatile someone with both inbound and outbound responsibilities, across both the hardware and software components of SolarBridge’s offerings, and who is able to work effectively and collaboratively in a rapidly changing, dynamic startup environment.
The Product Manager will be responsible for driving not only the product vision, roadmap, and go-to-market strategy, but also the specifications, collateral, documentation, pricing, packaging, and overall details of delivering a compelling and complex product line, etc.
Ideal candidates will have demonstrated expertise in products roles, in both software and hardware. Understanding the broad market opportunity and challenges of solar energy and renewables is desirable, but can be learned. A key success factor is passion – both for the industry and for the process of building and delivering great solutions!
Responsibilities
- Gather, synthesize, and prioritize actionable product requirements based on input from customers, sales, internal stakeholders and the competitive landscape.
- Develop the product roadmap in alignment with these requirements, and make the roadmap actionable by owning and delivering product MRDs.
- Collaborate as a fully-invested member of an Agile development team to ensure the delivery of high quality product across rapid and iterative release cycles.
- Create compelling product positioning, messaging and launch material.
- Reports to the Product Line Director.
Ideal Candidate
- 3+ years of product management or consulting experience in enterprise software (BI, ERP, CRM, SCM, etc) and/or multi-tenant, SaaS product offerings, ideally with both inbound and outbound responsibilities.
- Proven track record delivering MRDs, including mockups, wireframes and visual prototypes, preferably in an Agile environment.
- A strong technical aptitude and willingness to get ‘hands on’ with our existing products and technologies, and to interact confidently with both technical and business audiences.
- Combination of both hardware and software experience is preferable.
- Soft skills—strong verbal and written communication skills are paramount. And in general, a make-it-happen mentality with a demonstrated bias for action is important.
- Technical undergraduate degree plus MBA or similar advanced degree from a top-tier university preferred.
- Willingness to travel 10-30% of the time, depending on the timing of the product cycle.
