Tier One, Global Manufacturer Chosen for Expertise in Commercialization and High Reliability

AUSTIN, Texas (November 1, 2010) – SolarBridge Technologies (SolarBridge), a leading developer of integrated microinverters for the solar industry, has chosen Celestica, a global leader in the delivery of end-to-end product lifecycle solutions, to manufacture its SolarBridge PantheonTM microinverter.

“Celestica’s worldwide presence and legacy of electronics manufacturing capabilities made the company our first choice for manufacturer,” said Ron Van Dell, president and CEO, SolarBridge. “Celestica has supported us in validating our game-changing microinverter design. We look forward to moving into volume manufacturing with Celestica to produce highly efficient and reliable microinverters – the building blocks of a whole new class of integrated AC solar modules.”

SolarBridge and Celestica have been working together for more than a year, having completed design for manufacture (DFM), design for test (DFT) and qualification builds at Celestica’s facility in Toronto, Canada. SolarBridge is preparing for pilot production in Toronto, which will enable SolarBridge to participate in Ontario’s feed-in tariff (FIT) program, launched in May 2009. Volume manufacturing is planned for early 2011 at Celestica’s facility in Dongguan, China.
