SolarBridge Technologies, Inc. is developing an innovative photovoltaic microinverter and monitoring solution that dramatically improves reliability, increases energy production, and simplifies installation for solar systems.  We are seeking a candidate for the position of Market Development Director.  In this leadership position, you will have responsibility for promoting and positioning SolarBridge’s products and value proposition on a worldwide basis.

 
Key duties include:

 

  • Develop and manage marketing collateral, sales tools, PowerPoint presentations, etc.

  • Serve as primarily liaison with partners for joint marketing activities.

  • Be a strong spokesperson for SolarBridge; make presentations at conferences, interface with the media, etc.

  • Oversee global marketing events, such as tradeshows, press conferences, and channel trainings

  • Manage all marketing communications, advertising, and other promotional activities

  • Leverage third party influencers (labs, standards groups, analysts, etc.) to establish and sustain a leadership position for SBT in a new market category

  • Manage ongoing activities with SolarBridge’s PR firm

  • Manage website development activities and web content

  • Coordinate customer testimonials

  • Work collaboratively with Sales, Applications, Product Directors, and Engineering

  • Build and manage a global marketing organization

  • Develop and manage an internal marketing budget

A successful candidate will have a B.S. degree in marketing, communications, or engineering, and a minimum of 10 years of marketing experience.  An MBA and previous experience in solar is preferred. Essential to the position are effective verbal and written communication skills, good planning and organizational skills, a meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and within a team environment.  25% to 50% travel is required.  The position will be based in Austin, TX.
