The Solar Information Module (SIM) collects and compiles performance data from the individual SolarBridge microinverters and transforms this data into useful information. The SIM plugs into any AC outlet and transmits data over the power line. No additional wiring is necessary. However, if you would like the SIM to transmit information for use with the SolarBridge Remote Monitoring System, an Ethernet connection is required.
The SIM provides instantaneous and historical information via a color touch screen console. Information is automatically stored within the SIM for easy comparisons of system performance over time. In the event of a system issue, the SIM will notify system owners as soon as the problem is noticed.
The SIM is capable of integrating with the SolarBridge Remote Monitoring System or with third party systems to provide system performance information over the internet.
