SolarBridge Technologies, Inc. is developing an innovative photovoltaic microinverter that dramatically improves reliability, increases energy production, and simplifies installation for solar systems.  We are seeking a candidate for the position of North America Sales Director.   In this leadership position you will be responsible for developing and expanding partnerships and growing SolarBridge’s business across North America.  The primary metric for this position is revenue generation.

 

Key duties include:

 

  • Grow revenues in North America to meet corporate objectives
     

  • Directly manage customer relationships and lead contract negotiations with major OEM accounts;  work with PV system integrators and installers to build a funnel of company projects
     

  • Develop and implement strategies for expanding the company’s customer base
     

  • Develop and manage the company’s sales and customer service processes
     

  • Work collaboratively with the Sales Directors in other geographic regions to ensure seamless management/support of multi-national customers
     

  • Report intelligence from the field concerning industry, customer, and competitive developments
     

  • Build and manage a Sales team over time;  develop a sales compensation system
     

  • Provide input on messaging, positioning and value propositions; help define new products for the NAM market
     

  • Develop and manage a sales budget
     

A successful candidate will have a business or engineering degree and a minimum of 10 years of business development and sales experience.  Essential to the position is a proven track record of managing large OEM accounts, exceeding sales goals, and leading a sales organization.   Experience in solar is preferred.  Approximately 50% travel is required.  The position will be based in Austin, Texas or California.
